Rating: Summary: An inside look at Disney Company's creative Magic Review: This book is a must for any fan of Disney and the creative talent of the people behind the Magic. The book shows how an idea becomes a reality and all the effort and talent that goes into the process. Seeing a concept on paper and watching how on page after page it develops will make you look at the Disney Parks in a whole new light. Great behind the scenes pictures complete a good book to read to keep alive the Disney Magic.
Rating: Summary: A real treasure Review: This book is a real treasure for everyone who wants to know what goes on inside the heads of the Disney Imagineers. It is filled with the most wonderful drawings and pictures of ( almost) all the Disney parks and rides. I wished there were more books about Disney like this one.
Rating: Summary: Awesome Read Review: This book is an incredible read, except for one thing-the book has no information on how to become a Walt Disney Imagineer. I was really disappointed to find that the Imagineers left out such a vital part for readers like me who want to join the league of extraordinary individuals who make the Disney magic happen. All in all, this book has great pictures of original designs for the attractions, rides, and more.
Rating: Summary: This book is an Awesome source for Imagineer Stuff Review: This book is very cool and has a lot of cool stuff Amazon has a great price.I almost paid $50.00 for it at Disney World
Rating: Summary: Beautiful Book Review: This book was an amazing combination of original Disney art and facts. I love the fact that it covered Disney attractions from around the world and added commentary about how they were created. Well presented and beautifully designed.
Rating: Summary: Great and Interesting! Review: This book was so interesting, filled with behind the scenes information, and little know facts about the Disney company. A must for anyone who loves Disney, or has an imagination!
Rating: Summary: The Greatest Disney Book Ever! Review: This Imagineering book is a great full color, hard cover book. Most of the pictures in here have never been published and some I haven't seen in color till this book. I have about 35 Disney books and this one is my favorite. I recommend it to anyone who really loves Disney
Rating: Summary: Gorgeous, great book, details the making of "Disney magic" Review: This is a great "coffee table" book about Walt Disney Imagineering, the folks that make Disney magic in the physical form. :-) I found the concept sketches particularly interesting
Rating: Summary: Wonderful for Disney Fans Review: This is a great book for any Disney fan. The artwork is phenomenal and the insight is wonderful. I keep it in public view and get tons of comments on it. Everyone wants to say "I went to Adventure Land in such and such a year and we did (fill in the blank)." It never fails to get comments, and, as Disney fan, I'm glad.
Rating: Summary: Great photos and anecdotes. Little "real" information. Review: This is a great book for flipping through on a lazy day, but it is not the book you want if your looking for juicy information in Disney's Imagineering activities. But then, there aren't any Disney books, and may never be any, that provide really good "inside" info on such topics. But the book is enjoyable via it's use of photos and drawings (most all of which are beautiful) of Disney productions of all types, as well as interesting mini interviews with employees on their reasons and feelings for working at Disney. I recommend this book for those who wish to "tour" the Disney history, rather than read about and study it
