Rating: Summary: Entertaining! Review: It's a fast paced read and suspenseful. I couldn't put the book down until I knew who the killer would be! Although I think this book is really good, I still like her other book Indiscretion better.
Rating: Summary: Hooked Till the End Review: Such a great easy read that was also full of suspense. The story had enough twists and elements along with the right dash of romance to get you hooked till the end. Unlike some romance-turned-thriller writers where you could tell deliberate effort was made to create the thrills, here the story was never awkward but flowed smoothly. I admired the writer's courage of giving the heroine a dead-end at the beginning of her investigation when she was fired by the hero. And, just when you were worried how the heroine could continue with the investigation, the writer effortlessly put the heroine back on the case. This was the 3rd Margaret Allison book or story that I read. The first one was Christmas Magic from an anthology. Though it was short, it was more than a romance and it won my tears reading the feelings the heroine had to her father. Now the writer did equally well in this suspense. Though the other book that I read, The Last Curve, was good, I hope her "Christmas Magic" and "Promise Me" set the benchmark for her future works. I am glad to have discovered this talented writer and will definitely seek out her books.

I find this writer talented and hope that her future works can keep up with Promise Me and Christmas Magic.
