Summary: Good Reading
Review: Even for a guy the book hangs in. Of course, finding out one of the man characters was named after me, I had a personal interest in reading the book. I was very happy with that character's development. The book is about musicians and the way our mind works. It's not always a groovy life out there and some times thats how we make our best music... through our pain. I think Ms.M gets that point across very well. The love goes deep and the passion goes even deeper. Once I got into the story I couldn't put it down. I could feel every minute of Eljen's pain and I can totally relate to how he handled all that happened to him. It's a good read and I recommend it.

Summary: The men were sexy the women were hot!
Review: I know I need to quit but come on ladies, you have to agree that Jimmy and Eljen and Devon are the hottest men on earth. Starting out in l959 and going through to now, it's just the best saga I've read in a while. The characters are so real. You feel like you know them, except for the fact that they are perfectly lovely. The little girl Majestic--Woman/child actually, well she wreaked my nerves. I loved her hated her-- well just say this, Marjorie just didnt' do enough! And Tony, he was having some kind of Crisis and Gloria needed to smack his face. How did Jimmy say it--"Slap the SAM HAM outta him" And poor Barbara Stone. She really needed to quit going after that man that way. Black white or indifferent, she needed to LET IT GO. Made me sad. Destiny got on my last nerves to. She thought she was just so all that. The world just did not turn unless Missy had her say. Take a nap, I say! The book is just so Rich with characters. you love some, you hate some. You relate to some. I just have one question for Ms. McGriff 'Sista girl do ya knows these people?' I swear, I know folks just like Maji and Maurice. Friend of a friend tells me that this is not the end! I'm so ready for more.

Review: This was a great story. It's set up like a soap opera. Many twists and even more turns and surprises. If you like a great saga/soap opera you'll love this. And even if you don't, you just might get hooked. The character's reach they're lowest as well as they're highes in this story, they have relationships that interweave and tangle. It's a dance, a never ending dancing cycle. You start reading and you're in a whole other world that will shock, surprise, instill fear, and make you laugh and cry. It's grea and I loved it.
I hope all of you do as well. It's a story unlike any other, your not to meant to expect what they say you're supposed to. It' not like the fluffy harlequins or silhouettes, it's way more.
Enjoy!!!
