Liz Jones tells the story of Emma Hunter, a high school English teacher, who is struggling to help save her gifted, sensitive student Sage, caught between her troubled family and a love affair with the occult. How far can and should a teacher go to rescue her student? I recommend this book especially for educators and people who work with at-risk youth.
