Summary: nice story ... but doesnt go beyond that
Review: This story was my first from sandra DuBay. This author as a nice writing style.

The story of this book is about Dyanna a rich heiress, which her father just died, although not that she knew him at all. She had herited the fortunes of him and of her maternal grand-father, she was a rich girl!
She had been put in the guardianship of Justin Deville. Rumors were he was the son of Lucifer, associate with black magic and all that.

Anyways the story itself is really good, Dyanna is an avid bookworm and tends to take the books she reads as real life and then dramatist 50 times for herself. She goes to her "uncle" for help and he hints she should marry his son so she wont need to go with her guardian. Little does she know her uncle son as a plan of his own.

This book has so many unnessecery details and is soooo long at times that it draws away from the story itself. I found myself just quickly looking at some pages and going on since they were really irrelevant to much of the story.

Justin is not a very likeable character. he is cold and seems uncaring, and little details is out into him until the end of the book which rather annoyed me.
Unfortunately the best part was the last few chapters of the book where things start happening.

I also found Dyanna rather sheppish for someone so couragest at times. One minute she is this magnificent untamed woman, the next she is a lost little child. If she had grown up for a while with gypsies as stated I doubt she would of been so stupid with some details at times.

Overall this story is not bad just to long but it was alright
