Summary: LAND YOUR MAN!
Review: Humorous story of the girl next door (Brenda) who's been deeply in love with her stubborn but good looking neighbor (Fletcher) for years only Fletcher seems immune to his childhood friends' little sister!

Not to mention the fact he's about to marry someone else! Poor Brenda. No poor Fletcher! His girlfriend, the gorgeous witch/bimbo/medusa (Dominque) issued an ultimatum -- marry her in 7 days or else! So the reluctant Fletcher agrees.

How to stop the wedding...mmm...Bren only has a week -- fortunatly for her she's given a copy of the much useful guide LAND YOUR MAN!

Will it work!

Summary: Fast and Funny!
Review: I was put off by the title as I don't like books where the h/h meet and fall in love forever in just a few days. However, I opened the book and found they'd been friends since childhood. Whew!

This was such a cute book. I stayed up late reading it. I liked Fletch and Bren both. I hate to quibble with the previous reader, but Fletch never did agree to marry Dominique. If you'll remember, he was an A1 procrastinator and was going to take that week to decide if he did want to marry her. Almost immediately, he started noticing Bren as a woman instead of the little girl/one of the guys/best friend way he has always viewed her.
It takes him no time at all to realize that Bren is the one he wants to grow old with.

Dominique was never in the running. She is pretty peripheral anyway and we only see her twice in the whole book. Although her name crops up quite often.

This is a nice beach/fireside book. For any season. A feel good kind of book. When you're done, share it with someone else.
