Rating: Summary: YOU'LL LOVE IT!!!! Review: I enjoyed this book very much. After seeing the movie, I wanted to read the book. I know movies rarely do justice to any book. And whadoyaknow, I WAS RIGHT. The book was thoroughly enjoyable. If you've watched the movie, disregard all that you have seen. Jeff and Jade are wonderful characters and I commend Ms. Anderson inclusion of the true facts regarding the homeless. Not all are crazy and drug addicts, some are there through no fault of their own. All in all, you'll really love this book. Don't let that awful BET movie deter you.
Rating: Summary: Love meant to be Review: I read Rendevous twice, Ms. Anderson has given her readers a book about love in all the right places. Jade never wanted to be in such a situation but she was driven to the cold streets after her husband was murdered. If Jeff Nelson had not come along who knows where she would be. Jeff was an honest man with others at heart, I am not surprised by his desire to help Jade. He saw his sister in Jade, so I feel that he had no other cjoice than to see what he could do, This story had left me feeling warm on the inside, the ending was great also. Finally love in all the right places....
Rating: Summary: A Must Read Review: Rendezvous, by Bridget Anderson, is definitely a book that should be added to any library. Finally, I've found an author that can write a beautiful love story without degrading the chararcters...and speak in exploited language to get a point across. Anderson wrote her characters and storyline to depict experiences, feelings, suspense, and yes, romance. Clean romance. In fact, it's the type of romance we all dream of having. My heart fluttered many times during the reading as I anxiously turned the pages in anticipation of what was going to happen next. After reading this book, I couldn't wait go on-line in search of more novels by Bridget Anderson. My thanks to amazon.com.
