Summary: ever the page turner
Review: i really enjoyed this book. the story was a good one, with a little something different. the love story was almost heartbreaking and the female lead was not some sappy women. fiona was what a real women would be today, not just the fairytale stuff we are forced read about women. the sex scenes were very passionate between the two characters. overall this was a exceptional book. thanks miranda lee

Summary: The Wedding Night Affair
Review: The book was very well written and the story was enthralling. It was a believable story right up until the end. The ending was very disappointing to me. I didn't get a sense of the "stars in the eyes" kind of love. It didn't seem to me as if Fiona was convinced that their love was the long lasting happily ever after kind of love. (And after all, isn't that why one reads a category romance?) If she's not certain, why should I be? The dialogue wherein Fiona revealed her true feelings was somewhat flat. I expected more emoton from Phillip when he declared his true feelings. I expected him to have to wring the confession from his mother and for Fiona to be suitably vindicated even while she was accepting partial responsibility for disappearing from Phillip's life. I wanted to hear how noone else ever took her place.

The circumstance that broke up his 2nd marriage was okay, but I felt cheated at not even having had a clue. I would have much more preferred to have the wedding disrupted instead of the honeymoon.
