Rating: Summary: Can the Millionaire & the Housewife Live Happily Ever After? Review: Beth Davis is thirty-four years old, has two kids and is a widow. She is definitely not millionaire Todd Graham's type. So when she finds out her friends bought her a date with the millionaire who Beth claims is a charter member of the Bimbo of the Month Club, she is upset. She doesn't want him comparing her to the slim, young twenty-somethings he goes out with. But her friends say the date is for charity, she has to go. So she does. When Todd shows up at Beth Davis's door, he brings roses. When he learns she has children he smiles to himself, because some of his friends have called some of his dates children. But other than those young girls, he hasn't been around a child since he was one himself. So can the millionaire and the housewife find a future together? I should hope so and you can find out by reading this magical book. Boy oh boy, I just loved the way Ms. Mallery introduced us to her characters, how she made them so believable. Fantasy, that's what a romance should be about and Ms. Mallery delivers in spades. A Harlequin Dreamers Review by Sandra Sherman
Rating: Summary: Storyline Review: Beth Davis's fairy-tale days were over. Or so the single mother of two thought! Then her matchmaking friends sent her on a date with her very own Prince Charming. Millionaire bachelor Todd Graham was sexy, eligible -- everything a woman could want in a man. But Beth was a nearly-forty suburban mom. Not exactly Cinderella material.... But somehow Todd saw the Sleeping Beauty within. Why else would the Texas tycoon be wooing her with kisses that left her trembling with longing? But Todd hadn't promised forever, and a fairy tale like hers needed a happy ending. So Beth set out to turn her handsome prince into a loving husband!
Rating: Summary: Wow Review: I think reading Susan Mallery's foreword first alerted me to the fact that this wasn't going to be another what people considered to be, a clichéd romance. Of course I knew Ms Mallery never writes any of those to begin with but this is most insight into her personal life I've ever got from one of my favorite authors. Beth's story turned out to be even more touching. I may be a long way off from finding second love since I haven't even found first love but all the same, I related to the fear and at the same time, exhilaration, felt by both Beth and Todd at finding each other. What I liked about this book too, was a focus on the feelings of Beth's teenaged children. Hug your significant other, hug your kids. This is one great read.
