Summary: Tender, passionate, a story to win your heart.
Review: A fiery kiss under the mistletoe leads to a blazing tryst in Lucas Hunter's office. As Valentine's Day nears, Olivia McGovern discovers that she is pregnant. She tells Lucas about the baby, not for any financial gain but because he is the father and deserves to know.

Once he decides Olivia is not out to trap him, Lucas proposes. He was raised as an orphan and doesn't want his child to face any possibility of the same fate. As they get to know each other, Olivia loses her heart to Lucas. She agrees to marry him and hopes the desire he feels for her and his concern for their baby will grow to include love for her, too.

Karen Rose Smith delivers once again. This story will steal your heart. From the first sentence you're drawn into the story and aren't released until the end. The passion between Lucas and Olivia simmers throughout the book. Bravo Karen Rose Smith on another winner!

Summary: The Night Before Baby
Review: Olivia, a virgin until the night of her company's Christmas Eve party, has a one-night stand with her co-worker, Lucas. Lucas, a foster child, has bad memories of never having his parents around. He wants to marry Olivia to give the baby a stable home. Olivia wonders about a marriage for the baby's sake, so they agree to live as roommates, to see if they're compatible. Lucas suspects that Olivia has unrequited feelings for her boss, so he feels threatened by the relationship she has with her mentor. Lucas also wants Oliva to quit her job to stay at home and take care of the baby. By the end of the book, both people learn to overcome their fears of marriage and relationships, and to fall in love. This book was a somewhat nice, emotional read, and the writing was done well. I'd recommend this for those who love a nice, light romantic book.

Summary: Sparks ignite at the office Christmas party.
Review: When pretty paralegal Olivia McGovern and sexy Lucas Hunter find themselves alone for the holidays, a harmless kiss under the mistletoe leads to a one-night stand and an unplanned pregnancy. Lucas proposes marriage. But Olivia knows that marriage requires compatibility in all rooms of the house, not just the bedroom. Lucas, who was orphaned at an early age and has always yearned for family, suggests living together first--platonically. He wants his child to grow up with two parents. But with intimate knowledge of each other and non-stop sexual tension, their frustrations skyrocket. Complicated by Lucas's belief that Olivia is in love with her boss, and Olivia's fear that Lucas only wants her for the baby's sake--when she loves him--the couple face a rocky road that can only be smoothed by trust. This is a warm, fast-paced story with sparkling dialogue and characters you can really root for. One of Ms. Smith's best!
