Rating: Summary: Friends Forever Review: Caressa, Sharmayne, Rayne and Jade are four very confident and beautiful women who have been friends for a long time. While they each have their own issues and secrets, they are always there for each other. But more than anything else, each of them yearns for unconditional love and happiness with their significant other. In Roxann Latimer's You Never Know, we take an emotional journey of love and discovery with these four wonderful women that runs the gamut of emotions. As a reader you want these women to work through their problems and find true happiness. Overall, I enjoyed You Never Know. However, I felt that the lack of explanation of certain events , and the transitions from one character to another seemed a little rushed and hurt the storyline somewhat. Despite these two issues I believe Ms. Latimer has a good writing voice and I look forward to reading more of her work. Reviewed by Simone A. Hawks
Rating: Summary: A great read Review: This debut novel is fun, fresh, sexy and hip! I fell in love with the characters immediately. The first page grabbed me and wouldn't let go. The book travels over the friendships and loves of four women from America to Africa. These women are strong, sexy and hip and they are empowering as they are empowered. The men are sexy, romantic and strong and with everyone's failings they are able to come together with a wonderful and inspiring ending. A great romantic love story and a quick read!

Rating: Summary: a moving read Review: With characters that leap to life, You Never Know is that rare book that deserves our attention. Each character comes to life under the skilled craft of a novice writer. Roxann weaves the story like a seasoned writer and you can imagin seeing the characters as if watching a movie. The dialogue is crisp and realistic and the storyline believable. I felt like i was in Ghana West Africa and could hear the drummers at the festival and taste the exotic food, feel the music. I felt like I was in the midst of friends as I read the lives of four women who battle inner demons fighting for love life and happiness just as people do in their daily lives... I cant wait to read Roxann's next novel.
