Rating: Summary: A haunting read! Review: I can't put my finger on why, but this story's tone reminds me of the movie Last of the Mochicans. Oh, the tale is quite different, but it has that same deep, haunting effect as you read it. I won't go into the storyline here--you can read the book's blurb--but suffice to say it is NOT your typical Native American Historical. Neither the hero or heroine are Indian, but Zara was raised by Seneca Indians, and therein lies the conflict for them in this beautiful story that will keep you turning the pages until the end...and then wishing it wasn't the end.
