Review: Not since Wuthering Heights have I read a romance so touched with sadness and real life tragedy, but at the same time containing such potential for true happiness. Through the tears, the lovely Miranda emerges as a truly compassionate heroine. Being a native Torontonian, I enjoyed the many scenes that were set in and around Toronto, Canada. Cynthia Haas manages to effectively deal with the frightening reality of Alzheimer's disease in the context of an engaging love story. I recommend this book to all lovers of realistic fiction.
