Rating: Summary: The searcher is found Review: The author captures how nothing quite falls into place while God is missing from, or is not the center of our lives, and how obscured is our vision of the world. This is a true rendering of what peace, healing and wholeness there can be once we 'find' Him, let Him be our God/our reasoning/our energy rather than one's self, and when we begin to view all other matters in that new Light -- our career, our friends, our loves, our pastimes, even our past. The history of the Miraculous Medal was a sweet and interesting touch in leading Anta onward, as our Blessed Mother certainly does. We know so many who truly were led to Him, or closer to Him, by Mary. She puts us on the path He wishes for us to take, yet of course it is often the anger of misunderstanding (like Anta's) with which we first respond to Love which is bigger and closer than all of human life. I hope those who read this book, perhaps especially those who have felt unspecial in this world which so often seems to send a message that not all are worthy, will take comfort, hope and inspiration from Anta and Berta and all their friends in the Catholic Church. This book is an invitation to listen a little closer for our own unique Personal call from Him. Well done, Mr. Placencia

Rating: Summary: A Spiritual Love Story with Theology & Apologetics! Review: This book is one that will forever bless your life! A love story that is unlike any other you will ever encounter because it is filled with spirituality and with the blessings of God and the intercession of our beautiful Mother Mary. The reader is captivated since the first page and is taken, along with the characters that are so well developed, through a spiritual journey that not only will they share with the main character, Anta, but one that they will experience within themselves. Along with the blessings of a spiritual journey, the reader is able to learn more about Catholic teachings. After being blessed by the story, I also strongly encourage the reader to read the Author's Apology - but only at the end of the story! The Author's Apology will only leave the reader thristy for more Theology and Apologetics and the overall story will leave the reader with much faith, much peace, and above all, much happiness. It fills you entirely and will become a great blessing!
Rating: Summary: Faith and Love Review: This is a wonderful spiritual love story, that not only brings the reader to fall in love with the characters but also with the wonders of the Catholic faith. Mr. Placencia does a magnificent job of intertwining the life of Anta and the crosses he must bear with the way God uses people to bring about his many graces that are available to us. Through the beautiful intercession of Our Lady of Guadalupe, Anta's future is unraveled and the impossible becomes possible. I truly recommend this novel to anyone who loves a faith filled book they just can't put down. Thank you Mr. Placencia for a wonderful book to add to my library!
