Review: I loved this book. It just goes to show you the power of love. You never know where you might find it. This book reminds us to keep our hearts open. The end of the book was incredible who would have thought that Beverly would be so generous with her husband so understanding not many of us could do what she did. Thats all I am going to say I don't want to give the story away to somebody wanting to read this book. Good job Ms. Brenda Flagg you are awesome girl. I look forward to many more books from you. Summary: Ultimately "Promising"
Review: The story line of this book was "thick". It was reality based as well as entertaining. It was a true page-turner. I was up until 1 AM trying to finish the book, yet I wanted to keep some for later. I was sad when it ended, not that the story had a sad ending, but just that I was finished reading. I give Ms. Flagg her props especially by her being a virgin writer; her` first time was great. I haven't been this captured by a book since reading "The Coldest Winter Ever" by Sister Souljah, and I have read hundreds of books since then. I really love how you left it open for the follow-up book.

Review: This wonderfully written and fast moving love story begins with a bizzare encounter between a "Tony Soprano wannabe" ghetto gangster rapper and a sweet homemaker (read baby loving Angela Bassett). But wait! Nothing is as it seems...money, babies, indiscretion, sex, more money, lies, romance, sex, temptations, power, greed, and, oh yes, did I mention sex?? This is way beyond entertaining. Men (like myself) will enjoy a rare voyage into the mind of a complex, driven, fine-as-hell woman (you know, the one that we all want)demands everything from life. Women will find a story with lots of heart and a truth about nearly all men. Bravo to Flagg who has definitely proved that she can write with the best of them! Only problem with the story is that just like the Sopranos, once you've become completely engrossed in their drama, the story ends and leaves you searching your newspaper for the date of the next episode.
Brenda Flagg, please don't make us wait too long for the sequel so we can see where Tee, Beverly and all the complex and sexy characters go next!
