Review: Rival Passion by Shannon Honea is an excellent and exciting story set in the 1800's in New Orleans. This book grabs the reader and doesn't let go! When Johanna O'Connor meets her fathers' handsome and sucessful new partner, Christian Stevenson, emotions run so high the reader can feel them. Johanna loses her heart to Christian only to fall victim to the perverted Edward Smith and her once best friend April Bourtons' malicious plan to acquire her fortune. The authors ability to bring this book to an exciting conclusion is excellent. Now, I'm anxiously awaiting her next book.
