Summary: Entertaining read even for non-romance readers
Review: I have never been a big fan of romance stories, but this book changed my mind. Lucy Grijalva writes in such a "real" style that I felt as if I was part of the story. I came to care about the characters, and the story line entertained me all the way through. I found myself unable to put this book down. Highly recommended for romance, and non romance readers alike. Looking forward to Lucy Grijalva's next book.

Summary: Best short contemporary romance I've read in...?
Review: I stopped reading short contemporary romances so long ago...well, I'd confess HOW long, except it would date me terribly. I couldn't relate to 18 year old female protagonists (they were hardly "heroines" by any means) or the "exotic" locales the stories were always set in. (Authors provided the city's name--Paris--and a landmark everyone's heard of--the Arch de Triumph, for instance, and I was supposed to feel I was there? Not.)

Lucy Grijalva's book, however, baited me, hooked me, and reeled me back into the genre. Her characters--Rick, with his mirrored shades and Julia, with her comfortable, ratty bathrobe--are both real and grown up. Grijalva describes San Francisco with enough flair to be authentic and convincing. Best of all, she includes a "secret" recipe, the sort of hodgepodge meal readers might want to prepare on a lazy Sunday morning after an energetic and romantic Saturday night of their own!

"Undercover Love" is a slick, sexy, satisfying read. And between the lines

Summary: Great Story! Great Characters!
Review: This is one of the best romance novels I've read in a long time. The characters seem like they could be the people who live next door, and you care about what happens to them right away. I hope this author has another book out soon!
