Review: I HAVE READ ALL THE ROBERT FUNDERBURK NOVELS I CAN GET MY HANDS ON. THESE BOOKS SO ENTWINE YOU INTO THE LIVES OF THE CHARACTERS AND SETTINGS, THAT THE THOUGHT OF NOT BEING ABLE TO JUST PICK UP THE NEXT ONE, IS DEPRESSING. I HAVE ALMOST FINISHED THE DYLAN ST. JOHN SERIES TOO. WHEN IS THE NEXT BOOK OUT? THESE BOOKS HAVE REALLY MINISTERED TO ME! I WOULD SURELY LOVE TO HAVE THE AUTHOR CONTACT ME ON LINE SO THAT I COULD SHARE WITH HIM THE COINCIDENCES OF HOW THESE CAME INTO MY POSESSION.

Review: I've read all of The Innocent Years and Dylan St. John books. Unlike many of today's "literary" novelists, Robert Funderburk knows how to tell an engaging story. I eagerly anticipate his next book. You don't have to be religiously inclined to enjoy Funderburk's novels. Religion is a normal part of life, and there's no reason why it should be ignored in fiction. The Brothers Karamazov or The Scarlet Letter, for example, could well be considered religious books, as well as some of the works of, say, Graham Green and Francois Mauriac.
