Review: I cannot say enough about the incredible story which falls third in this fine book - "A Touching Performance" is the tale of concert pianist Claire Rossiter and her deep love shared by Nick Van Vierssen. Both characters are successful in their fields - Claire teaches music as an assistant professor and Nick is the Security Warden at New York's notorious Everettsville Prison. Even after Nick brings her beautiful plum-colored roses after one of her piano concerts, Claire does not realize Nick's handicap - he lost both his hands in an accident at Annapolis. Together they struggle to overcome Nick's handicap and share love in a world where many of us feel something about ourselves is too awful to share. Many thanks to writer Ginger O'Neil for this fine story in another successful Heartsong Anthology by Barbour Publishing. It has moved me greatly and I highly recommend it to all! -Deborah S.
