Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A collection of feelings put into words
Review: I found this book emotionally moving. There were many times I had to put it aside because of all I got in touch with in myself.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A beautiful and sensitive allegory of nature.
Review: There is this lush green meadow, anchored by tall and mighty oak trees, all of which are embraced by rolling hills and quiet mountains whose waters flow forth that nourish and sustain the life around. In this meadow is a beautiful maiden who listens to the natural inhabitants that comfort and protect her.

She softly relays to us, with a wonderful heartfelt imagination, one of those special stories about an oak tree, Jymee, that grows up in this lush green meadow, and his interactions with other trees and creatures that inhabit this magical place. In one of his efforts to reach out, he discovers, and falls in love with, a beautiful evergreen tree called Wyntree. "ShadowTracks" is not only a love story, but a story of growing up, learning about your surroundings, strengths, limitations, and discovering that, in love, you are not alone.

This maiden of the meadow, Ms. Halo, is one of those unique individuals who is quite able to translate a child-like wonderment of this world to an adult level of fascination that reaches deep into our inner-child, gently holding our fragile imagination, allowing it, like leaves of a tree, to blossom forth with rich colors and vivid images.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: A pleasant nature/fantasy escape
Review: What a pleasant escape into the world of Jymee and his forest friends. Mimi Halo captures the style of Merry Old England as we peer into the feelings of a simple acorn on its life journey. The poetic prose is refreshing. A "must read" for the stressed...it'll make you smile.
