Review: A friend gave me a copy while I was travelling through Montana and told me it was the best thing she had read in years. You were right Martha. This novel reminds me of the early Fitzgerald and Hemingway writings. The characters are real, they live, they breathe and they suffer for their love. I couldn't put it down. McBride has a good deal of talent.
