Review: Alexandre Rawlings is enthralled by the masked woman in white who has put mystery in the evening at the ball, bending the rules of society. The fascinating creature is doing numerous things that "just aren't done". Alex is more then intrigued but when Queen Anne sends for him he must not dally.

What can she possible want of him? On his way to a secret meeting with the Queen he comes across the enchanting woman in white hovering by a dead fellow. The same man who summoned him for the Queen. For some reason Max feels he must protect her and sends her out to find his carriage for he can't make the Queen wait for him.

Victoria Wynter has other plans though. She knows why Max has sent her to his carriage not for protection but because he wants her, and desires to discover her secret. It's a secret she needs to keep. She's been dressing in a mask and doing anything she deems necessary to help her brother. He must be protected and not find out to what lengths she went to to find out what he's doing in order to keep him out of trouble. His days of debauchery are going to ruin them. She must make certain his womanizing and drinking aren't leading him into the hands of the horrid Mohocks, a band of ruffians who have struck terror in London.

Alex is forever rescuing Tori but Tori is the kind of independent heroine you love to read. The mysteries and intrigue keep you on your toes with this debut novel. The other characters in the book are most interesting and the romantic sensuality of the book added to its appeal. I look forward to seeing Ms. Licata's career grow with each new and exciting romance.

Summary: GREAT BOOK. FINISHED IN ONE SITTING.
Review: This book is one of the freshest historicals I've read in a very long time. Licata takes an adventure plot and somehow manages to twist the romance through and around it in a way that she has you reading all through the night. There is great chemistry between the two lead characters, and terrific love scenes too. I think Ms. Licata is fabulous and look forward to her future books.

Summary: Unveiled
Review: Unbelievable that such a well told story could be a first book. Unveiled is a great read and Jenni Licata took a gamble that paid off in writing about the Mohawks in 1700's London. I can't wait to read her next book!

Review: UNVEILED is pure pleasure. Its protagonists, Tori and Alex, will find their way into your hearts and the story of the Mohocks will hold you spellbound.
