Summary: An Outlaw & an Opera Singer should be warning enough...
Review: If they idea of an Opera Singer & an Outlaw finding love wasn't bad enough the beginning was even worse. If you love the opera you may like the beginning but for anybody whom doesn't it will take about 6 chapters before you even get into the book & even then the characters really don't pull you in like most books. Kieran & Geneva just didn't have much of a personality I wasn't glued to the book. I would've put this book down after 50 or 60 pages because it was so boring & to far out in the Opera world for me but the reviews I've read on the book were great (4.5 out of 5) that I thought it had to get better. Oh, & did I mention the dumb imaginary Gremlin of Gen's? This Gremlin takes the emotions of Gen's that she doesn't want other people to see. Just to weird. The first time I heard about the Gremlin it was one to many times. Kieran gets knocked over the head & becomes unconscious way too many times (at least 5 that I remember) which made me to think he was just dumb. Gen escapes her captors (which were too many) way too many times as well. This book is just not believable. Then to top it off the book takes you from Texas to New York & back to Texas (with many stops & captures in between) where along the way Gen is taken by some Arabian people & then they end up in New Orleans & at the end of the book you see Gen & Kieran going to Europe & already planning their trip back to the States. The author had a great idea for the book but she tried to add to much adventures to it that made it very unbelievable. Overall the book was just o.k. & I'm glad I finished it but I would never read it again. If you love the opera & you have a wild imagination I say you might like this book but if not stay clear of it.
