Rating: Summary: Excellent romance novel set in beautiful Alaska! Review: "Encore, Encore!" This is what you will feel after reading, "Midnight Sun." Amanda Harte has the talent to breathe life into her characters and brings realism to their situations. Her creative story telling will leave you waiting impatiently for her next romance novel.
Rating: Summary: Wonderfully written. I couldn't stop turning the pages. Review: I was drawn into the story right away. I didn't want it to end. The heroin Amelia Sheldon is a very real character that I felt I knew well throughout the book. The story also made me want to visit Alaska. (perhaps live there) I would recommend "Midnight Sun" to anyone who enjoys real life situations and happy endings.
Rating: Summary: A wonderful book by a new rising star. Review: Midnight Sun takes us back to Gold Landing, Alaska, circa 1900, when men were men and woman were women. Amelia Sheldon was a doctor, who saw her move from Philadelphia to Gold Landing as a new beginning in a new land, a place where attitudes about women doctors would be different...and then she met William Gunning, a handsome, arrogant mine owner. It is a story about dreams, biogtry, love, trust, a good man and a good woman. The characters are rich and endearing, the land is awesome and the time period is exciting. An extremely enjoyable read that takes your emotions on a roller coater ride.
