Summary: Good timing with this warm romantic race
Review: Heir to a fortune, Richard D'arcy Kristof detests the way the debutantes chase him like raw meat. However, when you are worth millions and a media darling as the "millionaire stud" what else could you expect from the women of his class. His parents want him married to a suitable bride, but Darcy finds his circle of women boring. Desperate to be ordinary for even a month, Darcy bets his lawyer cousin Nicholas Demetries, that he can do it. He selects Cecil, Kentucky in the heart of Blue-grass country as his destination.

Harden Braybourne owner of Braybourne farm needs a manager since his got shot hurt. Though his daughter would be perfect, Harden is too chauvinistic to realize it. Instead he hires the stranger Darcy at a time when the ranch struggles for solvency due to bad investments. As Darcy and Silver butt heads, they fall in love, but what will happen when she learns his true identity?

Though the story line of poor misunderstood rich boy going incognito has been told more times than Darcy's worth, Meg Lacey provides a warm story line due to its cast including a four legged stud. The tale entertains the audience through the squabbles and attraction shared by the lead couple. Silver is a mercurial person except in love while Darcy knows he has met his soul mate equal in everything that matters. Readers will enjoy racing to the finish line of MILLION DOLLAR STUD.
