Rating: Summary: An Author to Collect Review: This is the first of her books that I've picked up, and I'm looking forward to finding more of her stuff. Her heroine, Dani Courtland, writes mystery fiction under a male pen-name. As a research tool, she acts out her carefully plotted "kills" on unsuspecting victems. While executing her latest victem, "the weasle", by poisoning his drink in a resturant, she is apprehended by Adam Winters,PI. Her escape, and the fact that chemical analasys reveales nothing in the scotch and water but scotch and water, serve to pique his curiosity about the mysterious woman. Another chance encounter and ruined "murder" attemt reenforce his curiosity and growing attraction. Add Dani's growing frustration at having her carefully plotted assasination attempts thwarted and you have a mix that makes for lively reading. These to odd-ball charicters caught me from the first five pages and I stayed up past midnight to finish the book. Rather off-beat, her charicters don't fall prey to the standard romance novel chiches. If you can find it, read it. Why haven't we heard more from this author?
