Summary: "Real Life" Fiction With Humor
Review: After reading Patt Marr's first book, "Angel In Disguise," I was hoping to find the same combination of "real life" struggles and uncertainities mixed with humor in her second inspirational story, "Man of Her Dreams." She didn't disappoint me.

"Man of Her Dreams" is the story of Meg and Ry, two people with flaws, strengths, doubts, and the desire to do the right thing while searching for true love. Marr has fully developed these characters, and she makes it easy for us to identify with them. More importantly, we see how God is working out His plan for Meg and Ry even when circumstances seem impossible. And isn't that how it should work in the real world?

It was exciting to see what each new chapter would bring...it's one of those books you don't want to put down. And if you read Marr's first book, you'll be happy to see those characters reappear as secondary characters in this new one.

We can only hope Patt Marr will continue to turn out books of this caliber...and perhaps we'll be lucky enough to see Meg and Ry again.

Summary: Dreams CAN come true....
Review: When the producer of the (fictional) hit television show "Dream Date" renews her acquaintance with childhood friend and now paramedic Ry Brennan, some sparks fly and attraction is instant. Producer Meg Maguire (not Meg Talbot as is printed on the back of the book) has reservations about Ry Brennan being the man of her dreams.

But spiced with humor at times and true-to-life character development, events progress toward a great conclusion. Enough great characters are presented that I hope there are many sequels written for future publication.

I recommend this book not only for the story, but for the points it makes about love and marriage and friendship, and the inter-relationships of all three. Well written and very believable.
