Rating: Summary: Intriguing! Review: Scarlet Season by Laura Gordon is part of the Harlequin Intrigue series and it is a very good book and they aren't kidding when they say intrigue. The mystery and suspense in this book is truly riveting. It's the Christmas holidays and a woman named Cassie Craig witnesses a murder and calls the cops but the body disappears and no one believes her story, they just think she's a crackpot. Mitch Dempsey is a cop who also turns out to be an old childhood friend of Cassie's and he is trying to help her uncover the truth and when they discover the identities of the killers it is truly shocking because the ringleader is a person you wouldn't expect at all to be a ruthless killer. If you like romance, mystery, suspense, intrigue and Harlequin then I recommend this book!
Rating: Summary: A Rollercoaster Ride Of Mystery and Suspense! Review: This book is good, it's romantic suspence and set at Christmas but not your typical Christmas romance. Cassie sees a man being murdered and goes to the police but when they arrive at the scene there is no body and the police think she's a nut who made it all up to get attention, One of them is Mitch who very reluctantly helps Cassie because he like the others doesn't believe her story but after a while it becomes apparent that she didn' make it up and it's very real and now she is targeted for murder because she can identify the killer. I liked everything in the book except what the villains did to Cassie's friend's pet bird, that part really bothered me!
