Summary: Not something to base life off of
Review: Alright, if you like books that are good just for mindless reading then this book you might like. I always thought the reason why we read inspirational romance was to still get romance but hear about God's Word as well and maybe get something out of it.
This book deals with two people with majors issues but I felt that the author didn't really address any of them. I didn't really like the book at all.
Suicide is a serious issue that many Christians question but the author just stuck it in for plot development and really never answered the main characters own questions. It brings to Christians false info and I warn others to tread carefully.
Another thing I didn't particularly like is the fact that the main character who is a Christian becomes romantically involved with a non-believer and this doesn't bother her till the end where she remembers the Bible verse on not yoking ourselves with non-believers but still disregards it. She asks the Lord for guidance and yet I seriously don't see her really listening. Anyone can hook up with a guy and then ask for God's guidance or a "sign" and then once the guy proposes think that is the "sign" and say yes to the proposal even if he isn't Christian. It just gives the wrong message to Christians and what they are supposed to follow. The conduct of the couple in the book was not something we should set as an example, emotions are a part of a relationship but this book made it the only thing they were counting on.

Lastly, Wade's salvation and the reason why he was always angry with God can not be told or summarized in two sentences at the end of the story when that was one of the major plots.
This book put in a lot of good issues that Christians deal with but in my opinion didn't deal with any of them and just basically ran their lives the way they saw fit disregarding everything they were taught about being a Christian.
