Summary: A really good read
Review: As ususal Ms Steele has a strong female character, she won't back down or bite back a angry retort.
Jeger Urquart has to take care of Lucie his niece when his half brother and his wife are badly hurt in a car accident.
Fennia feels she has to help take care of the little one when Jeger is determined to keep the child safe, until her parents are well again.
Fennia becomes more of a sub-mom, and Jeger a typical male leaves all the child care to Fennia.
Soon Jeger is bringing his women to help when Fennia takes her night off, and Fennia doesn't like that.
But Jeger likes it even less when he sees Greville Fennia's half-cousin, is very close to her.
When Jeger finds he is in love with Fennia, he puts up a fight to keep his bachelorhood, but it is a lossing battle.
The more he sees of other woman, the more he knows Fennia is special.
This is a funny book.
For writers like this, I recommend Susan Fox, Helen Brooks, Rebecca Winters and the late great Betty Neels.

Review: This is the second book in the series. But, if you read the first one than you should know that this one follows the same pattern as the story unfolds. Fennia finds herself thrown together with the very powerful and rich Jeger Urquart. Jeger is now responsible for his two year old niece, while her parents are recovering from a bad car accident. Jeger doesn't know anything about kids so Fennia decides to help, she is familiar with Nikki since she works at the daycare that Nikki attends. Fennia finds Jeger to be a jerk, but is still attracted to him.

I have all three books in the series and they are all the same. The women come off as sassy and the men rich and powerful. The story is one sided. The entire story is told from Fennias perspective and we never know what Jeger is feeling until the very end. The story was good, but it could have been better.
