Summary: A Fantastic Romance
Review: The Texan is a five star romance novel all the way. You have a down on his luck leading man, a successful and beautiful leading lady, some hard times and then good times.

Our leading Man, Rafe, has been through the ringer. His girlfriend got pregnant with by his business partner, they then take all his money forcing him into a bankruptcy that will require he sell his family's horse ranch.

Angela is a 30 year-old real estate agent who meets Rafe at the bar where she and her friends are celebrating her birthday. They share a dance and she is hooked.

With some help from Rafe's accountant, Angela and Rafe work together as she puts the horse ranch on the market. This is where the sweet romance starts. Rafe is broken hearted, but Angela has plans to fix that!

I just really enjoyed this book!

Summary: This Romance is Just Simply Superb!
Review: This Romance is Just Simply Superb

First off I want to say that I almost didn't read this book because of the claptrap written on the back cover. You know, there ought to be a rule that the person writing back cover blurbs should, at the very least, have read the book. That said, I'm glad I read this five star romance.

Rafe Witten (yes, Rafe is a dumb name) is a wounded man. His longtime, live in girlfriend got pregnant with his partner, then apparently didn't want the child, didn't want Rafe either. However she didn't have an aversion to his money. She and the partner cleaned poor Rafe out. And he had been worth a bloody bundle. Now he's being forced into bankruptcy and to make matters worse, he has to sell the horse ranch that has been in his family for generations.

After his accountant delivers the horrible news, they go out to a bar for a drink at the accountants assistance. At the bar Rafe spies three women having a celebration. It's sorta of a birthday thing for real estate agent Angela Morton, who has just turned thirty. Rafe has a birthday dance with her, then leaves.

Angela can't get the sad-eyed Rafe out of her mind and Mr. Accountant thinks she just might be what the doc ordered for down and depressed Rafe, so he hires her as the agent to sell the ranch and now you have the ingredients of a first class romance. Catherine Lanigan, bestselling writer of "Romancing the Stone" knows how to keep a readers interest and she does it very well in this highly recommend story.
