Rating: 5 stars
Summary: VERY GOOD
Review: I have only read one other book by Cindy Gerard and it was so good that I began to look for others. This was a very touching story about a woman who survived an abusive childhood and found love in a most unexpected place. It also has a small twist at the end that was unexpected. I would highly recommend this book.

Rating: 4 stars
Summary: believable and immensely satisfying
Review: In her legal practice workaholic January Stewart defends abused children. She's closed off her heart from romantic involvement because of her own childhood abuse - and a terrible secret that she must hide. Coming into her life like a thunderstorm from the Past, Michael Hayward, with his trained reporter's eye, can see through the frumpy business clothes, high-powered conferences, and courtroom drama that cloaks the beautiful January Stewart. It will take everything he's got to win her heart and uncover her secret. An unexpected twist at the end of the story makes TEMPTATION FROM THE PAST by Cindy Gerard believable and immensely satisfying. Very well done!

Review: Temptation From the Past (Loveswept, No 514)
by Cindy Gerard

An Outlaw's Heart and a Bad-Boy Grin...

Michael Hayward was the most blatantly sexy man January Stewart had ever seen! His sure, cocky smile made her insides throb with fiery need, but she knew the renowned journalist was more trouble than she could handle. Intrigued by the enigmatic lawyer who defended abused children with abandon but who seemed untouched by his sedutive charm, Michael wanted to thaw January's cool demeanor and light the fuse of the dynamite he suspected lay under her skin...
