Summary: A first choice Kaminsky who-done-it
Review:

John Stevenson seems to have it all. He has a loving, devoted wife and four beautiful children, and everyone respects him as a dedicated family man. He earns a high wage as a CPA at the firm of Jason Burkett, a prominent businessman with political ambitions. Thus, it is a major shocker when one night John goes to grocery store and never returns. After twelve hours pass, his frantic spouse goes to the police, but Spokane Detective Jackie Kaminsky believes John is just another deadbeat dad.

However, Jackie revises her initial opinion when she learns that Jason's daughter was killed by a hit and run driver. Jason and his wife stonewall the police through their lawyer. This leaves Jackie wondering what they are really hiding and is there a connection between the death and the disappearance?

Mystery enthusiasts will love THIRD CHOICE, the third installment in the deservedly popular Kaminsky series. Margot Dalton creates a very unusual yet believable police procedural while brilliantly blending in a romantic sub-plot that adds depth to the story line. Readers will look forward to the next installment, THE FOURTH HORSEMAN, but will have to wait until Sep 1999 for its release.

Summary: The Real Stuff!
Review: Just when I thought it wasn't safe to go back into the romantic suspense waters again--too imitative, too flashy and slick, too artificial--along comes Margot Dalton and Jackie.A fine writer and a fine heroine. More! More! More!

Summary: It was so exciting I could not lay this book down
Review: What a great book, it was one of those kind you could not skim read, the plot was great and the characters were so real. I will be anxious to see how Jackie and Paul work out their living arrangements and also whether they have a little girl or boy. They still have lots to work out but I am sure they love each other enough to make it work. Jackie is such a good person and I know how hard she must have to work to really believe that because she certainly never had any encouragement from her family along the way. John and Carly and their little family deserve to be happy and not always can people with money buy anyone they want to. I have read several of Margot's books and now she has become one of my favorite authors, this book will be passed around to all of the gals I work with as we have an office full of avid readers. Best wishes on your next book about Jackie and her family I can not wait for it to come out.
