Rating: Summary: Romantic Times Review plus some extra comments Review: My comments: I have all of Lyn Ellis's work! Look for her books written as Virginia Ellis as well. Lyn Ellis writes with a subtle sensitivity and depth that sets her apart in the category romance genre. Michael's Angel made me cry so hard- a touch of heavenly intervention is needed to save this couple after their world collapses when their son dies. Book opens with Michael at the point of giving up- he has left his law practice and his wife and has spent a year on his boat running from his grief and he enters a storm with no intention of coming out. In the eye of the storm- he dies and is saved- not by the coast guard but by a higher power- and he awakes in a hospital- his wife's hospital knowing he needs to save her and rescue her from her grief so they can rebuild a life together. But she wants nothing of it- he abandoned her and she is not going to forgive him with ease. Their long journey back is painful and joyful and a great read! I have a full set of Lyn Ellis's books on my keeper shelf- enjoy!Romantic Times Review: When a couple's marriage is destroyed by the loss of their only child, fate intervenes in the form of MICHAEL'S ANGEL (4), who helps them rebuild their love and trust in one another. Lyn Ellis captivates us with her special storytelling gift in this heartwarming story of love rediscovered.
