Rating: Summary: A Definite Page Turner... Review: I got "Memory Whispers" shortly after it came out. And needless to say, it's a great book. From the very beginning to the end, the author keeps you guessing. From the start the author makes you wonder about the fate of her characters. The first descriptions of Faith's dreams make you ask why they're there.
That question gets answered. Which may lead you to think, well that's all the book is about. And that, is a straight out lie, it's nowhere near the end.
By answering the first question I thought up, the author went through the story making me ask more questions, as I read further, I got more involved with the characters, not thinking I could flip the pages fast enough. As the characters grew and confronted things I eagerly awaited the next event, many of which were a surprise to me.
Another great thing about this novel is that I couldn't really guess what was going to happen. I couldn't guess the ending, and when I got to the climax of the story I had no idea how the characters would ever get out of it. But they did. And it wasn't in a far-fetched way either. The climax and the entire book seemed believeable. A ghost story that, if you went to Cripple Creek, you'd half expect the locals to be talking about.
As someone else said, and I agree, "This book makes you believe in the impossible."
