Summary: A good read
Review: I enjoyed this saga by Debbie Macomber. This is like a 6 part story of several people in a remote part of Alaska. Basically, there are not many women to choose from in this place and some of the men devise a plan to attract more women to the area. Their plan works and the romances begin. The writing is sweet and it is nice to learn the characters and see some of the relationships continue to blossom in future books. Read this book, along with Bride for Brothers, Ending in Marraige and Falling for Him

Summary: Storyline
Review: THE MARRIAGE RISK - Debbie Macomber

Hard Luck, Alaska--a town that needs women!
Location: 50 miles north of the Arctic Circle. Population:
150--mostly men--but growing! Because the O'Halloran
brothers, who run a bush-lane service called Midnight Sons,
are heading a campaign to bring women to Hark Luck!

Charles O'Halloran--The oldest brother. Surveyor and not-so
-silent partner in Midnight Sons. Like his brothers, he has a
distrust of marriage in general--and a distrust of anyone

related to Catherine Harmon Fletcher, the woman who did so
much to destroy his parents' marriage.

Lanni Caldwell--She's the only woman Charles has ever fallen
for, the only one who might convince him to take the marriage
risk. They meet when she visits Hard Luck on a family matter.
But there's something Lanni hasn't told Charles--and doesn't
want to. She's Catherine's granddaughter...
