Summary: Sunken Treasure Heats Up this Romance but Good
Review: Young Clowance Masteson storms down the dock in Key West, looking for Michael "Shady" O'Grady with a chip on her shoulder. She's had the man investigated and she knows the supposed thirty-three-year-old hardened adventurer for what he really is, at least she thinks she does. He's a criminal and she has his record back at her hotel to prove it.

Shady was working on his boat when the girl approached, clearly upset, she demanded that he give her back her grandfather. For a few seconds he's confused. Then it hits him, she might be talking about his partner, Ezra Dunovan. He asks her if her grandfather is in his seventies. She answers that he's in his eighties, but that he's always lied about his age.

Actually Ezra is a spry old guy, who's taken up a lot of things many men half his age would never dream of, like skydiving and lately treasure hunting. Clowance believes Shady is a conman who is bilking her grandfather out of his money. Shady thinks Clowance is headstrong and nuts.

However, he is after sunken treasure and when he tells her about the "Riaza" a Spanish Galleon that he'd been looking for for over fifteen years, he's telling her something she knows a little about as she's done research and actually knows quite a bit, like that over 1,400 ships had gone down along the Spanish Main.

When Ezra returns, Clowance fails to talk him out of his plans. Not only is he going sailing along with Shady, but he's going to dive for the treasure right along with him. So what's a girl to do? She has to go along.

I really liked this romantic adventurer penned by Ms. Leone. And as we read about Shady and come to know him, we begin to think he can't really be the bad guy Clowance thinks he is. But apparently there is someone who looks a whole heck of a lot like Shady and who is using his name. And that adds a delicious twist to this story that really excited me and I think it'll excite you too.
