Summary: Storyline info
Review: Hannah McGuire's resort-town life had been quiet, happy and safe. Until her best friend was murdered and the investigation forced her into a partnership with Dr. Rex Logan - the man she'd loved, lost and been hiding from for six years.

Rex had put Hannah's life in danger once before. Now he had to face her again, and this time, to protect her, he was staying close - very close. Working to expose a terrorist secret that could threaten global security, Rex was defenseless in the face of the powerful passion that still simmered between them. But was passion enough? And when Hannah told Rex her own secret - that she'd borne him a son - would she put all their lives in grave danger?

Summary: What a wonderful debut from Loreth Anne White
Review: I can't believe this is her first book. I was gripped right from the start and the story just kept gaining momentum. It was very hard to put down!
The hero and heroine are destined to be together in spite of the odds... You can't help but care about Rex and Hannah - they were torn apart by events of the past, now they are forced to work together to expose a terrorist secret that threatens the world. But in working together, they must face each other and confront their pasts. Hannah must tell Rex her secret...
The romance is wonderful, the characters absolutely fascinating. The plot is compelling and smart and the book is rich with layers of meaning. I don't remember reading an author who could evoke such a captivating sense of place. Her writing style is so clear and sensual, it draws you in to the world of White River and you won't want to leave. I can't wait to read more of Loreth Anne White's books.
