Review: This is a must read. The characters are so true to life and the story will keep the pages turning. I could not put it down. The author has created a debut novel that should please everyone who reads it. You will be glad you picked it up and will feel you have to tell everyone else to read it. I am looking forward to Mr. McIver's next book.

Review: This was an excellent read. Joel McIver used positive black people in this story. These characters lived real lives and had to also deal with the not so positive people. Anyone who reads this book has known someone like one or all of these characters. It was very refreshing to read.
