Rating: Summary: solid contemporary romance Review: Chicago sportscaster Dylan Hart returns to his hometown Holly Springs, North Carolina to attend his sister's wedding. Mechanic Hannah Reid meets Dylan at the Durham airport to drive him to the wedding. Dylan considers Hannah as a tomboy little sister though she thinks he is hot. Still she has never been able to get him to see beyond her greasy garb that she wears as part of her owning and working at a classic car repair shop. However, this time Hannah plans to turn into a girlie girl to get Dylan's attention that she is the one for him.
Dylan loses his job and Hannah is short funds for her renovation project. They agree to help each other, but Dylan never expected "plain Jane" to be so pretty. Dylan wonders if Hannah could reciprocate his new found love for her.
The latest Brides of Holly Springs is a solid contemporary romance between two nice lead protagonists. The "mystery" that Dylan partially overhears between his brother and Hannah seems weak and the ease at which the couple helps the other appears too easily accomplished, yet the star duo and the support cast makes for a fine read.
