Rating: Summary: Great book Review: I loved this book. I didn't realize until the second half that it was the follow up to Entwined. I had read it a long time ago and hadn't realized at first. I recommend both books.
Rating: Summary: Great book Review: Many years ago my son, Douglas, while serving in the Coast Guard with Chief Williams, introduced me to the books of Bronwyn Williams. Ever since I have become an avid reader of all books by these sisters. "Beholden" is , as expected, a great story with characters that intrigue and hold your interest.. It gives insight into how strong women in the early days of our country were...they were survivors. I wish you continued success with future books and be assured I for one, will continue to read each of them! Thank you for sharing your talents with all of us.
Rating: Summary: Not unusual - a great book as all books are by these sisters Review: Many years ago my son, Douglas, while serving in the Coast Guard with Chief Williams, introduced me to the books of Bronwyn Williams. Rating: Summary: A really good book; made me laugh and cry, great read! Review: The characters in this book sort of take you in, and you want to keep reading. There is a strong sense of place--on the water in North Carolina at the turn of the century, with gamblers and a heroine and her sister from Ireland that are really captivating. This book gave me several days of good reading.
