Summary: Romance in the Caribbean
Review: Catherine "Cat" Fulton was doing just fine in London. Having the time of her life. But her father passed away and named Jared Royal, a successful painter and an old friend, as Cat's guardian. Twenty-year-old Cat has to mind the thirty-four-year old Jared if she wants to see her inheritance.

For his part, Jared can't control Cat, and control is the operative word as far as he's concerned, from his family home in Barbados, so he makes Cat come to the Caribbean, where he shares a home with his beautiful step-mother, who is only two years older than he is. To stop the island gossip, somehow right after his father passed away two years ago, he became engaged to a girl named Laura, who is only a couple years older than Cat.

Cat arrives from London and it's not long before she and Jared are at each other's throats. Can romance possible bloom between these two, he's fourteen years older than she is? Besides, he has that fiancée. Ms. Mather has delivered a pretty good romance, but not too much suspense. You pretty much can figure the whole book out after only a few pages. Still I enjoyed it four stars worth.
