Rating: Summary: The Stolen Bride by Jacqueline Diamond Review: Have you had enough drama in your summer this year? Now it's time for a little intrigue. Jacqueline Diamond's The Stolen Bride, a Harlequin Intrigue September release will deliver.
Jacqueline Diamond A.K.A. Jackie Hyman has over 60 books to her name or names and we were lucky enough to review one of them.
In her latest release The Stolen Bride Erin Marshall, the heroine has had an accident and can't remember one particular day. The day she accepted a proposal from Chet...her fiance.
At her wedding Erin's childhood sweetheart Joseph Lowery, now a cop, shows up and gives Erin some information that will change both of their lives forever.
Erin calls off her wedding and leaves with Joseph, and the two of them try to unravel the tangle of lies and deceit people have wound around Erin and her mother before anyone gets hurt.
I loved the rich, believable characters. Erin is a bright, smart woman even if she is dealing with a head injury and Chet. Well, the name says it all Chet Chet Chet and Joseph; he may not be a knight in shining armor but he is a man in uniform with a badge and a very large...gun.
Erin has to trust herself to make the right decisions and Joseph has to trust himself enough to give himself to Erin.
What happens? This is one book I can't give too many details without ruining the book for you. This is a book you won't want to put down. Definitely a page turner. I highly recommend it.
Thank you Jacqueline for letting us review it for you. We LOVED it. What's up next for Jacqueline? She has a December release called The Baby's Bodyguard.
