Summary: A Cinderella Story with pure Betty Neels flair
Review: I have to remember where the story take place for the mother made me upset with her selfishness and telling Matilda that she was the selfish one. It help to enhance the ending. It is definitely a Cinderella story if ever there was one. I enjoyed the way Matilda worked her way in the villagers hearts and into the doctor's as well. I love Betty Neels and trying to collect every book she ever written. I look forward to reading them all.
