Summary: Hmm... Different
Review: My Warrior's Heart is one of my favourite romances. It's like a myth of love and passion. The confrontation between Aaren and Jorund is exciting! I like the description of the Norsemen and their village. It gives me an impression of real, simple, lovable people rather than bloodthirsty Vikings. Thanks to Betina Krahn for this wonderful novel!

Summary: My Favorite
Review: My Warrior's Heart is the tale of three women and their quests for love. Set in the time of Vikings, it is truly a wonderful romance.

One day a man comes to the villiage of jarl Borger, offering his three daughters to Borger to pay for an old debt, but with three stipulations: Borger could have none of them, and the younger two could not be wedded or bedded until the eldest, Aaren, had been defeated in battle, because of an enchantment placed on them by the god Odin.

Aaren, a warrior maiden, does not really fit in amongst the town people or the warriors, and her quest of self discovery and acceptance is wonderful to read about. She is persuid by Borger's son Jorund, who is set on winning the stunning Aaren without violence. Jorund has discovered the values of Christianity through a priest that was captured, and has decided that he likes what he hears, except for that thing about having one woman only. Why would a man only want one woman? He is about to find out.

Aaron's younger sister Miri has basically been claimed by Jorund's younger brother Garth, who is also sexy as hell.

The other sister, Marta, is kind to a captive in the great hall. Although Leif is attracted to the kind and gentle Marta, he knows that there is no chance for their love...or is there? He will do everything in his power to claim the woman he loves.

This is a novel that is not only about love, but is about a group of people changing their ideals. Love of war turns to a desire for peace. Enemies are turned into brothers. A feud is exchanged for friendship. It contains all aspects of real life, and is a truly wonderful and recommended read.

Summary: My Favorite
Review: This is my favorite book of all time and I had a chance to tell Ms. Krahn this a few years ago. She told me that it was her favorite book to write even though it didn't get the critical acclaim some of her other books have. This is a good one and frankly, the only unsigned book I have on my keeper shelf!

Review: Well.... i went into this without high expectations as i have read two of her books(Unlikely Angel and the Mermaid) I found this book refreshing and one of the few books which depicts life during Viking times.. i felt like i was there !! It does have a slow start but once you get into it, you better hope that you have time to spare cos you can't put it down !!
