Rating: Summary: A must read for anyone looking for romance! Review: Excellent from cover to cover! I just couldn't put it down. To find romance....whether you are thick or thin is hard to do. Author Pat Ballard combines humor and sensuality in her tale of seeking true romance. A must read for anyone seeking a male suitor. You are an inspiration to romance writer's across the globe! Keep up the good work :)
Rating: Summary: Finally, realistic heroines!! Review: First of all, I'm not normally a romance novel reader (although I HAVE been known to read a few.), but I was intrigued by the concept of realistic heroines, and so I gave this book a try. I must say I was delighted by the book, and had a hard time putting it down. Ms. Ballard paints her characters with a vivid brush.... I even found myself daydreaming about Hanna!! This book proves that all women are beautiful, not just what Hollywood considers beautiful. I honestly can't wait for Ms. Ballard's other books to arrive here for me to read!
Rating: Summary: I Want A Man Like Matt Review: Hanna Rockwell needs to be married by the time she's 30 or she'll lose her inheritance. But she's in no hurry to get married just to save an inheritance that her mother and brother need to live on. In fact, she's ready to start a new life somewhere without them. Then along comes Matt! Oh, Matt! Swoon, swoon. Matt Corbett is the kind of man that most any woman would love! And he loves Big Beautiful Hanna Rockwell, just the way she is! This is the first book that Pat published. I'm looking forward to reading the rest!
Rating: Summary: Not worth the money..... Review: I bought this book because of the glowing reviews that I read, and I have to say..I can't understand why it's gotten such high marks....I think that this is the most poorly written book that I have ever read. The storyline itself wasn't what bothered me..it was the complete lack of description and the unbelievably underdeveloped characters. I didn't think it was possible, but this book was actually too fast paced..I felt rushed through it. I cannot believe that this was actually published...I definitely would NOT recommend wasting your time or your money on this book.
Rating: Summary: Don't waste your time or money . . . . Review: I sincerely wish that amazon.com allowed 0 stars. There were too many "eyerolling" moments in this book, not to mention that the copy editor must have been on vacation. The plot, which involves a voluptuous woman and ex-rock-and-roll star who get married because of the terms of a will and then begin to fall in love, would have been far more believable if the author would have spent time in story development to make us care about the characters. This does not happen. Consequently, the characters come off as simply unbelievable and cliche-ish. Save your money and pass on this book.
Rating: Summary: truly horrible Review: I wish that the fact that the heroine was full-figured made up for the terrible writing. It didn't. This is really one of the most poorly-written books I've ever read. I was so sad about it because I really yearn for a realistic character, and normally I can give an author kudos for the attempt, but I really wish this attempt had never been made. There were grammar and spelling errors, and I felt as if it was written by a junior-high kid. Initially I was going to concede that at least Ballard had a knack for building sexual anticipation, but when she stopped just short of the act with some broad reference to "and then they had great sex" I threw up my hands. I'm so disappointed. I am hopeful that perhaps Pat's skill will increase with time and in a few years I can come back to her. Please, if you're looking for a good full-figured romance novel I suggest you look over some of the other books I've reviewed, this one might just turn you against the genre for life.
Rating: Summary: This Book Has Been Reprinted by Pearlsong Press Review: Please check out the new imprint by Pearlsong Press on Amazon.com.

Rating: Summary: Wanted: A Love Story Review: Wanted: "One Groom" is a story of so many women today. Being a plus-size is hard to see yourself sexy. This story is a wonderful love story. It makes you feel you can find romance and love. I highly recommend it for good reading. I`m ready for all of Pat`s books. Sandy Funk
Rating: Summary: truly horrible Review: Where to begin? The plot is transparent, the characters can barely be called that, and the writing style alone should have made the book unpublishable. I am excessively sorry to have spent time and money on this.
