Summary: Where can I find a man like Red Wolf? Great book!!!
Review: Ilove this book so much that I bought it. I appreciate how the book talks about the Native Americans side. You find out that the white men were doing the wrong. The Indians had a very wonderful life that didn't need gold, money, perfume just natural resources. I reccomend it.

Summary: Passionate and moving
Review: Written in the 1980's romance style, this book was eventful, sensual and descriptive. The hero and heroine are separated for an unexpectedly long period-- during which my interest in the book waned and I shelved it for a number of months. I'm glad I picked it back up, though, since the ending is truly worth the wait. I was most dismayed by the novel's insensitive portrayal of homosexuals, esp. a homosexual man with a sympathetic situation of his own. There are graphic descriptions of violence that can be horrifying. Bittner certainly seemed determined to turn the tables on Western revisionist history. The novel is most memorable for the romance, however, which is warm and well-developed.
