Review: #26 A Candle in Her Heart- Bantam 1973

Vivacious and talented, Leslie Blake lived a carefree life in the small New England town of Claytonville. In a gay whirl of parties and dances, surrounded by ardent suitors, the lovely young beauty had just about all a girl could ask for.

Then Donald Shaw, a handsome stranger, came to work as a chemist at her father's plant. Leslie found herself irresistibly drawn to the newcomer whose arrival set off a chain of sinister and baffling incidents which plunged Leslie into a web of excitement, intrigue and danger.
