Summary: A great book!
Review: I had read this book when it first came out, in 98, and unfortunatly, sold it in a garage sale. There were times, over the 2 years I've had without this book, that I desperatly wanted to read it over and over again, but had forgotten the title. I knew the story by heart but my mind went completely blank where the title was concerned. One day, however, I was reading a totally different book by a completely different author and the word wallflower appeared in a sentence, and my mind just clicked! I remembered the heroine mentioning wallflowers while she danced with her hero, and immediatly went on amazon to see if my mind was playing tricks on me or if that was the name of the book. Thank Goodness it was! I now am happily reunited with a lost treasure of a book! Now, don't get me wrong, I'm not the type to obsess over books no matter how good they are, but this book was fabulous! I recommend you buy it and never let it out of your sight!

Summary: One of my favorite books of the year!
Review: I loved this book. I think Jan Freed is as good as it gets, and I eagerly await her future books.I was a little doubtful that I'd buy the "grown woman goes back to high school" plot, but I did, hook, line and sinker. What a joy this was to read!

Summary: don't let this one get away
Review: The Wallflower by Jan Freed is a truly delightful read. As skeptical as I was about the adult goes back to high school bit (yes it has been done) I was truly impressed at how Freed handles the situation and story line. Freed's heroine Sarah is spunky and courageous, her hero Jack brooding and mysterious. Truth be told Sarah doesn't need anyone to rescue her, and perhaps that is what makes her character so delightful. In the end it is Sarah who in the long run comes to Jack's rescue.....and the rescue of many others, showing them the true meaning of love. The Wallflower has it all, suspence, intrigue, passion and humor, this is one book to add to your collection.
