Review: Beautiful, young Sarah Lennox-Matthews has been kidnapped by Darcy Ashton, the dissolute Earl of Moreland. He forces her to marry him so that he may get his hands on her fortune. But the earl is murdered only two weeks into the loveless marriage. The kidnapped bride becomes a suspect, but then so is Sir Nicholas Stanhope, who has inherited the earldom as well as Darcy's newly acquired fortune.
The book is an amusing, quick read that I thoroughly enjoyed.
